Hunter Dulin joined Stonemark Wealth Management in September of 2018 as a Trading & Research Associate, reporting directly to our CIO. In addition to executing block trades across our portfolios or individual, client-specific trades, Hunter provides company-specific research proposals to our Investment Committee, compiles our portfolio’s monthly composites & writes Stonemark’s monthly commentary. In February of 2020, Hunter was promoted to Portfolio Analyst.
In 2011, Hunter graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Finance & Economics. Upon graduation, he moved to a small town in New South Wales, Australia to explore the country & work on a cotton farm. Once he returned to the US in May 2012, he moved to Denver, CO to work for Oppenheimer Funds on their Advisor Relations team where he was the primary support contact for financial advisors. After 2 years at Oppenheimer Funds, he was afforded the opportunity to be a Eurodollar Futures Trader at Eldorado Trading Group. He started off working overnight to cover the Asian & European market hours, trading Eurodollar futures with full discretion. Wanting to be closer to his then-fiancée (now wife) & looking for greater opportunities, he moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and became a Trading & Research Associate at Wedbush Securities’ Wealth Management Department where he was the head trader, executing block trades for separately-managed account (“SMA”) portfolios.
Outside of work, Hunter enjoys traveling, camping, hiking, fly-fishing, and skiing in his spare time. Hunter is also an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Blackhawks fan.
Hunter is a CFA Level II candidate.
